The Holy Quran

In Africa and in Islamic regions where resources are limited, thousands of children and young people spend their mornings in madrasas, striving with great determination to memorize the Holy Quran and study Islamic sciences. However, due to a shortage of printed Qur’ans, students are forced to write the verses in charcoal ink on wooden boards called “Luh,” memorize them, and then wash the ink off to move on to the next page.

In these lands, where even obtaining a single copy of the Qur’an is considered a great blessing, every Mushaf donated is the apple of the eye for a student on the path of knowledge, and for the donor, it is an ongoing act of charity that will keep their record of good deeds open until the Day of Judgment. As the Paye Humanitarian Aid Association, we personally deliver durable, hardcover copies of the Qur’an with clear calligraphy to aspiring memorizers in orphanages and village madrasas.

How Do We Work? (Delivery and Personalized Video Process)

Identification of Madrasas in Need: The list includes village madrasas and orphanages that lack printed copies of the Quran and where students receive their education using wooden slates.

Durable Printing and Binding: High-quality paper and stitched hardcover Qur’ans are produced to ensure they remain legible for many years without deteriorating, even under harsh climatic conditions.

Individual / Group Distribution and Prayers: Qur’ans are presented one by one to students seated at their prayer desks.

Personalized Video Recording (for donations of 5 or more): For donors who donate 5 or more copies of the Holy Quran, a personalized banner or name card is displayed in their name; the moment of delivery is recorded on video and shared with them.
