Bread

Bread is humanity’s oldest and most basic foodstuff. However, in rural villages across Africa, in refugee camps, and in crisis-stricken regions, the lack of baking infrastructure, difficulties in securing flour, and shortages of firewood and fuel mean that thousands of families struggle to obtain even a single dry loaf of bread.

In these regions where children start the day hungry and mothers are left helpless, the scent of fresh bread is a symbol of hope and the will to live. As the Paye Humanitarian Aid Association, we keep local bakeries operational and run our mobile production networks to personally deliver thousands of loaves of fresh bread, baked every morning, to those in need in even the most remote corners.
